Need a refresher course on how to eat healthy without losing flavor? Trish can help you out at this delicious yet nutritious cooking class, sponsored by Profile by Sanford. You do not need to be a Profile client to attend.

Menu:
– Mini Pepper Nachos
– Veggies with Buffalo Hummus
– Chicken Zoodle Soup
– Zoodles with Creamy Avocado Pesto
– Zesty Asian Zoodle Stir-fry
– Low Carb Crustless Pumpkin Pie

Class starts at 6:30 p.m. on 9/28 and will last 1.5-2 hours. Filling samples of all food and drink will be provided. This is a demonstration class, allowing you to sit back and enjoy. Attendees will receive a 10% off coupon for purchases that evening. Class size limited to 15 people. Classes will take place inside the store at 312 Main Ave, downtown Brookings.

Mother’s French Kitchen | 9/13/16 Cooking Class

Mother's French Kitchen

Join us for another delicious class with our favorite French cook, Chloé Cledelin. As a special treat, Chloé’s mother Marie is visiting from France and joining us in the kitchen for a glimpse at authentic French cuisine.

Menu:
– Appetizers: Brochettes apéritifs tomate feta concombre (tomato, feta cheese, & cucumber with bread)
– Entrée: Cocktail de cœurs de palmier, pamplemousses, crevettes “sauce rose” (heart palm, grapefruit, shrimp, & “sauce rose”)
– Plat principal: Aiguillettes de poulet marinées et ratatouille provençale (marinated chicken tender and ratatouille)
– Dessert: Crêpes au caramel au beurre salé de ma maman (crepes with Mom’s salted caramel)

Norwegian Lese 101 | 10/27/16 Cooking Class

Lefse 101

This is a hand-on class with a lefse expert. You will see how to prepare lefse dough and then work together to prepare lefse on a grill. Tickets can be purchased for the class only or with supplies to take home. The instructor recommends the traditional aluminum grill for nice lefse browning though some prefer the premium non-stick finish for easy lefse removal. The starter kit includes one large round pastry board with washable cloth, one 2.75″ by 17.25″ corrugated rolling pin, two washable rolling pin covers, one 7/8″ x 24″ turning stick, and two lefse mixes (just add butter and water).
